Isabelle the makeup artist!

Ok, no one be afraid... it's only Belle. She got a hold of my makeup bag and while I was enjoying a few brief moments of peace thinking she was finally learning to play by herself in her room; she was practicing putting her makeup on... Joker style. She at least knew that eye liner went in the eye area and lip stick in the mouth area. Only thing was she got a hold of my long lasting permanent lipstick. Her cheeks were a bit stained still the next day even after I scrubbed her down.

December 2009

Here is a slide show with some of the photos from December. Isabelle was soo much fun she really got into the tree with its lights and ornaments. She loved opening her gifts and was so excited about everyone and kept saying Thank you to both of us. She woke up around 5am so we had one of the earliest Christmas I can ever remember. Thankfully after she was all tuckered out from opening everything she and the rest of us took a nice long nap! Thank you everyone, and hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

Washing dishes

Ok, so I know this is sideways, but I can't get it to rotate. Sorry!
Isabelle loves to play in the water and this morning she figured out how to turn it on using a wooden spoon that was in the sink. This kid is getting too smart!

Isabelle's Grandma Patty had gotten her this hat last year I think and at the time it was too big, but just recently she has discovered it and likes to wear around the house!

Halloween!!!

This year Isabelle was a Little Lady Bug. She got to wear her costume a few times once to play group, then the church Trunk-or-Treat on Friday night and then to a few of our friends homes on actual Halloween.

Its kinda hard to see but she even had ladybug slippers on! I love all the cute little girl stuff they have for her!

I had a lot of fun dressing her up and she actually kept the little hood on for a good part of the time. She definitely knows what candy is now and wanted some first thing Sunday morning.

We had a few photos taken by our friends, it was a little cold that day, but that didn't stop Isabelle all she wanted to do was get in the little pond with the ducks that were at the park. So in most of the photos it looks like she is trying to escape!

TIGERS!!

A trip to the Zoo!

Isabelle and I went to the ZOO in Boise, it was soo much fun and a lot of the animals came out so we could get a really good look at them.

Isabelle loved climbing in and on all the animal playgrounds located through out the ZOO this one here is a tortoise shell that she is in.
She loved the Tigers!! We actually got to see them wrestle around and walk right by our window several times.

Isabelle's new place to kick back and relax while she watches her favorite show, Sid the Science Kid. I keep thinking she is going to fall but she can stay like that for a while.

If you turn the volume up a little bit you can hear her singing a song! Our neighbor Jeff just brought this over and Jason hung it up today, she wouldn't let me get her out, she would swing all day if we let her!

New hair style!

Isabelle's new hair-do! Her hair is finally long enough to put in two low pony tails and her bangs to the side with a clip! I think it makes her look so grown up!

Uncle Tom had the magic touch, she finally fell asleep for her nap!

Strawberries and summer!

We have two strawberry plants in our front yard and Isabelle ate every one of the berries. She loved watering the plants and picking them, I even managed to get her to wait until some actually turned red before she picked them! It was quite a feat!

We are sooo excited about Isabelle's new Kitchen!!
Growing up I had a play kitchen that I totally loved, I knew I had to get her one someday.
I went to the Thrift shop on base today and saw this for only $25 can you believe it and it looks brand new. She loves it and I was able to make dinner for the most part all by myself!

Jam and toast please!

Multitasking in the kitchen?

So I was making waffles for breakfast and little Isabelle insisted that she needed to watch, and then she discovered the phone charging near by so what else would a 15 month old little girl do?

Easter Egg hunt

Our first Easter Egg hunt! We made it to California just in time for Easter. Belle did like carry the basket around, but she wasn't sure if she liked the eggs in her basket too!

Eventually both girls emptied their baskets and found their way to Grandmas fountain to play in the water. What can you do these girls have a will all their own!

1st BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Isabelle turned 1 year old in Feb, She had her first cupcake, it was carrot cake with whip cream and her very own #1 candle!












She took it very serious at first and gave us a really funny look when we sang "Happy Birthday"











Then she wasn't sure what to make of the whipped cream and me snaping pictures of her eating...











...But then she got a taste of it and she gobbled it right up! Ever since she wants to feed herself.

Lets Dance!

Isabelle has discovered a few new dance moves all her own! She loves when Jason puts his phone on to play music; sometimes she stands up to dance and sometimes it looks like this when she sits to dance. Sometimes she even tries to sing along with the music as bends, twists and bobs her head. Enjoy!

Isabelles walking everwhere now!

Belle has really started walking a lot recently. Here's a little clip. Her favorite thing to do is pick something up and take it back and forth between Jason and me. She has had quite a few falls, but it doesn't slow her down at all. Hope you enjoy!

New hair cut

I've had long hair for the last 6 years or so, so at the beginning of Feb I decided to go short, really short. Its been fun and something different and Isabelle doesn't pull my hair as much. Yeah! I didn't realize how much Belle's hair has changed until I saw this photo. When she was first born her hair was just a shade lighter than mine.

BIG DAY!!

Well I don't have a photo to go with this big news, sorry. Hopefully we can get it on tape soon. Isabelle walked today!!! Jason and her were playing by the chair in the living room and she just walked to him it was about 3 steps!! She was soo proud of herself after that she did it a few more times and again when our home teachers stopped by ( always the performer). Its funny to watch her go its almost like she is tripping at full speed and is getting a few steps in before she falls. Shes a crazy one. The other big news is that she cut her 9th tooth! Its one of her bottom back molars. Other than all that, Jason and I are enjoying this time together he has 2 weeks off before he goes back to work. Its been so wonderful to be all together again.

The snow is serious busniess

Yesterday I took Isabelle out to play in the snow, the gloves didn't last, but she let me get her all bundled up for it. We had about 4 inchs or so on Saturday. I had all these crazy ideas she would be all excited to get out side and play in the snow for the first time... I tried to show how to play in the snow and she was soo serious. This was all she wan't to do. Hope you guys enjoy!

Daddy's little girl!

Daddy finally arrived home Sunday night!!!

This first picture is taken in the hanger where we picked him up, Isabelle wasn't sure at first and just stared at him for a while.

When we got home she warmed up and realized Daddy's as silly as she is.....

Now the whole family is enjoying some much needed time just hanging out enjoying one another!

Isabelle is the California girl!

While in California for the Holidays Isabelle learned lots of things, one being how to be a true California girl!

Here she learned how to drive at high speeds (well on her laundry basket) while talking on the phone with her own little style.

Then she had a day as Beach Bum on New years day. It was the perfect day and the first time she had ever been to the Beach. She loved the sand I couldn't keep her out of it.

She also fell in love with Mexican Food! As seen here with her cousin Jonas. She really loved Grandmas black beans and believe it or not more went in her mouth than on her face for a change.

We had lots of Fun in the Sun and she misses all her cousins and Grandparents already! Thanks for everything!
