Very Blessed!
I want to take time to write about how very blessed I feel today. We have had some difficulties this past month and the Lord has really helped me thru with the help of prayer, priesthood blessing and a loving family. Im recovering well from the surgery and Little Ethan has made the adjustment to bottles fairly well. Thank you all for your prayers and support!

A Day at the Zoo!

Feeding the animals Isabelle liked but she wasn't sure she wanted to be the one holding the food with the giraffes

this tiger performed a little bit for us and Belle was soo excited watching him walk and jump around she was too!

Jason favorite animal that day (mainly because he really wasn't sure if it was fake or not!)

Ethan's #1 fan
Isabelle tells me every day that Ethan is her best friend and for the most part she acts like it, though she does get upset with him everytime he has a poopey diaper and tells him it was yucky for him to poop his pants. As if she has had a perfect record recently....
Grandma Patty sent this outfit for Ethan, both jason and I thought WOW that looks soo big for him, but lo and behold it fit perfect on my 14lb 11oz 3 month old who is trying to get teeth in too!

Isabelle loves holding her brother.... and he is OK with it most of the time

My coolest project with Isabelle
Okay so I don't know if I'm bragging or telling on myself but today we did the coolest project we've ever done together. We had a huge box from our rocking chair and made it into a Princess castle and I was finally brave enough to buy paints for her to paint with. And just now as I am updateing this blog she got her head and shoulders stuck in the window. Now what fairy tale does that happen is?

Ethan Douglas Gonzalez
Ethan is here! He was born Sunday evening the 11th at 10:45pm, 7 bls 13oz, 20 inches long, with a full head of hair. Jason arrived from training Saturday morning and then after church on Sunday I told him I was ready to have this baby so we went for a walk joking on the way wouldn't be funny if you went into labor today, the day before you are suppose to be induced just like with Isabelle which also happened to be on a Sunday. About half way thru the walk the contractions started about 4:45 by the time we made it back the house I didn't even want to wait around to eat dinner we went up to the hospital they admited me at 6-ish and I was dialated to a 6 at that time. A few hours later out came Ethan cute as can be and I was able to make it thru with out an epidural with lots of help and encouragement from Jason, my Mom and Jason Mom who were there to welcome our little man. He is such a good baby the first night he slept 4 hours then woke up and started feeding right away and then back to sleep for anther 4 hours. All the nurses kept saying what a good baby he is and when he did fuss they said it was cuye cry. Who knew there was such a thing? Isabelle loves he new baby brother, when she came to see him she said "oh he's soo cute I love him!" So far she's done fairly well with him, but she keeps wanting to steal his hats for some reason. He has had a bit a problem with jaundice since he's been born, but today it finally on its way down, he also had to have the bottom part of his tounge clipped so he could eat better. Needless to say we have been busy! I'll get more pictures up soon!

Isabelle is really into entertaining everyone with her dance moves and songs. She loves being the center of attention! It's kinda of a long video, but at the end she is singing "twinkle little star" and her version of the ABC's, Enjoy!

Summer is Here!!
We've been in Ca now for a few months and finally it is starting to feel like a CA summer that I knew when I grew up around here. Cherries just came season and we got our first bag along with what seems like our weekly flat of strawberries, Isabelle and I are in heaven with so much fresh fruit I don't know if I will be able to leave! I was really worried when I found out that I would be having a baby in July because of the heat and swelling that might happen and I m happy to report that today was the first time that my feet have swollen. Its a great excuse to sit back with my feet up and watch my little 2 yrs old go crazy with the hose trying to "help" grandma water her plants. I do feel a little guilty, but not as much as I should I'm sure. So far Jason is over his half way mark and is doing really well with his classes for his new job in the air force, we get to chat regularly on the web cam which is really helpful with Isabelle. So far potty training started out fairly well but we've hit a big bump, the fun and excitement of something new has worn off and she is having a lot of trouble with it, actually she doesn't care its me that is having the hard time with it, but hopefully we can get this established in the next 6 weeks before the baby gets here. Any suggestions.... let me know!

Potty Training week 1
Jilissa and I decided to try potty training together with our two little 2 yr olds this week. It was a little crazy the first 2 days with little success, but they are really starting to get it. Isabelle even has figured out how to get the most amount of candy she can, she'll go a little bit each time (sometimes like 4 times in one hour) Shes way too smart! She gets soo proud of her self when she goes. Sometimes when she tries and then can't she says her "potty is broken". When we got up this morning she wanted to put on her big girl panties first thing! Then while I was going to the bathroom she came in and said "Mommy are you going potty?" " Yes Belle I am", "Oh I'm soo proud of you Mommy!" It was too cute, she then asks if I wanted a sticker or a Jelly bean.
This picture is of Corynne and Belle painting in Jilissa's kitchen on our Big Girl Day!

Our visit to see Daddy!
Isabelle really wanted to see the Elephants at the zoo, its her new favorite animal right now. She says it something like "ellie-fat at the U"
Daddy and Belle got to feed the giraffes it was really cool, Belle was a little timid but she really liked it.
Isabelle at our hotels pool. She wanted to swim all the time first thing in the morning until bedtime. We found these butterfly sunglasses that she can't be parted from... well until they broke on us.
On our flight home, Isabelle had to take pictures with her new toy camera of practically everyone on our flight with the camera turned around backwards as well as wear her goggles around her neck which she also had to show everyone around us how she wears them when she goes swimming!
We weren't sure if we were going to be able to make the trip to see Daddy cross country because I had a really bad sinus infection when we left, but we went with me 7 months pregnant and a very excitable and active 2 year old on 2 very long trips on airplanes. Isabelle was near inseparable from Daddy and they both loved it! Good thing Jason is halfway through with his training, we miss him!!
